Indochina Travel is as concerned as you are about the privacy of any information that you may provide to us through our web site. Indochina Travel makes every attempt to ensure that all our business practices that involve the use of your information are compliant with and exceed privacy regulations in all countries where we operate including the European Union’s new May, 2018 guidelines for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Foremost, Indochina Travel never swaps or sells any personal information you may provide to us with other companies or outside marketing firms; we collect your personal data only to communicate with you.

Personal Information

Indochina Travel may collect your personal details to communicate with you about a potential trip or travel services, in arranging travel you have organized through us, and to notify you about other travel we organize. Such details may include age, dietary specifications, physical health and other personal details to ensure your trip is planned to the highest quality. Indochina Travel does not swap, sell or transfer your personal information, including email address, to any third party marketing, research or other organization whatsoever. In some of the places we operate tours, including Myanmar and Vietnam, local government authorities require we collect and submit a scan of your passport and other personal information in advance of your arrival. For insurance that may be included in your tour, such as for emergency medical and evacuation coverage, we may be required to collect additional personal information such as your date of birth. Cookies

On our site, information and data may be automatically collected through the use of 'cookies'. Cookies, which are small text files a web site can use to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's continuing access to and use of the site. Credit Card Information

Credit card information submitted through our secure registration page uses industry-standard Secure Sockets (SSL) encryption technology and is transmitted directly to our merchant bank. Our payment gateway only transfers but does not retain your credit card information—at no time in the online process does Indochina Travel store or keep your full credit card information. Your Right to Review Your Information

All Indochina Travel clients have the right entitled to examine the information we keep regarding them, subject to any restrictions required by law, and may request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer wish us to possess your information, you can request correction, updating, or deletion of your information by emailing us at [email protected].

Complaints

If you feel that Indochina Travel has not complied with this Privacy Policy or if you are otherwise concerned with Indochina Travel’s personal information practices, then you may file a complaint by sending an email to [email protected]. Complaints or requests for information shall be the object of an investigation or response within 30 business days. If the complaint is justified, Indochina Travel will take the appropriate measures to address the complaint, including your access to the requested information, by proceeding with resolution or, if needed, amending Indochina Travel's Policy and practices.
